Remember, in a Microsoft Exchange calendar, all Microsoft Teams Meetings will show a Join button five minutes before a meeting is set to start. After selecting Meet now, you have the option to change your meeting name by typing in the box under Meeting name.

Click the rectangle icon to the right of the link to copy it to your clipboard. The Microsoft Teams Outlook add-in allows people to view, accept, or enter meetings from Teams, or Outlook. To schedule a meeting, open Outlook and click on New Teams Meeting in the calendar view. Add your meeting subject, as well as a location, start time, and end time, then click Send to inform your team. Add guests to your team by selecting Teams and then visiting the team in your list.

This brings up a calendar in the main window. Click the New meeting button at the upper-right corner. Set up video meeting in microsoft teams

At the bottom of the fill-out form for a new meeting, you can add a message to include in the meeting invite. This is a good place to include a brief meeting agenda especially in an easy-to-read format, such as a table or a bulleted list. Providing a brief meeting agenda helps invitees prepare for the meeting.

If you need to provide a more detailed agenda, you can send a separate email with a document such as a. Or consider hosting your meeting in a Teams channel as described below. There you can post a reply to the message that announces your meeting with the agenda attached.

Hosting a meeting in a channel lets any member of the channel join the meeting. Another way to do this: Go to the team channel where you want to announce this meeting.

At the upper-right corner, click the down arrow next to the Meet button. From the menu that opens, select Schedule a meeting. Please note that the video tutorial refers to inviting external guests via a telephone number. This is not possible at HYMS. External guests invited by email do not need to always wait in the virtual lobby either, depending on your settings.

Please note that you will need a webcam, microphone and speakers to participate in a video meeting. Before the meeting, just tap Background blur in the upper left corner of your screen before tapping Join. You can view up to participant videos though not all at once. The maximum number of people you can see on your screen at once depends on your device and its software. Together mode is available when a meeting has at least five people in it. To change the scene, tap on the scene name in the bottom left corner of your screen.

To pin someone’s video to your view regardless of who’s talking, press and hold the video you want, then tap Pin. When a video is spotlighted, it’s essentially pinned for everyone in the meeting. For now, you’re not able to start or stop spotlighting on the mobile app, but when someone using the desktop app spotlights a video, that video will be spotlighted for you just like it is for people on the desktop app.
